Infile option on default start-up - UNIX

There is no direct way of disabling the default last used input file. If the file is not defined in the users $HOME/.easycopy/ecrc file, the default will be taken from the global EasyCopy resource file: /ecrc .
You can modify the actual "easycopy" invocation script which was generated during the installation of EasyCopy. Please add the below lines at the beginning to this script like:

then
  if [ -f $HOME/.easycopy/ecrc ]
  then
    cat $HOME/.easycopy/ecrc | sed 's/^infile.*$/infile=/g' >         $HOME/.easycopy/ecrc.new
    rm -f $HOME/.easycopy/ecrc
    mv $HOME/.easycopy/ecrc.new $HOME/.easycopy/ecrc
  fi
fi  

This will let EasyCopy start in the current directory (assuming that the /ecrc file has this entry:
